NCAA Football Youth Day-Atlanta is a free football clinic organized and operated by NCAA Football and the Chick-fil-A Bowl for Atlanta area youth. This event focuses on character development in addition to football skill development.
The character development portion is accomplished through keynote speakers. Past speakers have included Georgia State University Head Football Coach Bill Curry, Morehouse College Head Football Coach Rich Freeman, University of Tennessee Assistant Athletic Director Condredge Holloway, Georgia Tech Student Athlete Roddy Jones, Georgia State University Student Athletes Michael Davis and Brandon Jones and Morehouse College Student Athletes Derek Hector and Charlie Wilson.
The football skills development portion of the program is lead by assistant coaches and graduate assistants from college football programs in the Southeast. Past clinics have seen coaching participation from schools such as Georgia, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Morehouse College, the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa and Birmingham) and the University of West Georgia. Information and photos from last year’s clinic can be found at the following websites:
Registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis with a limited number of clinic reservations available. Because of the limited number of available reservations, parents are asked to only register for the event if they are certain that their children will be able to attend. Registered participants who do not attend on event day may cost another child an opportunity to participate in the event.
